Supplement 1. XIII Interdisciplinary Latin American Congress Oriented to Adolescents
The Latin American Interdisciplinary Commission Oriented to Adolescents (CLIOA) is a non-governmental entity of a public nature, its own assets and non-profit international law, focused on strengthening the promotion of the health of adolescents from an interdisciplinary and contextualized perspective. From this vision, its fundamental purpose is to deepen, promote and disseminate new contributions, strategies, lines of research, and activities related to adolescence, while promoting the exchange of programs and experiences in health services. CLIOA began in 1999 with the holding of the First Interdisciplinary Congress of Dentistry for Adolescents, in Buenos Aires. Argentinian republic. Since that year, and in compliance with the provisions of said Commission, Congresses have been organized uninterruptedly every two years, with the year 2023 corresponding to the holding of the XIII Congress in Uruguay, in the city of Montevideo. While new member countries have joined, CLIOA currently consists of seven countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. Two CLIOA Congresses have been held in Uruguay, in 2001 and 2009, and in 2018 it hosted the CLIOA Intermediate Meeting. According to the Resol. No 33 of 07/28/22, the XIII Latin American Interdisciplinary Congress Oriented to Adolescents (CLIOA) took place at the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of the Republic on September 28 and 29, 2023, with the presence of representatives from several Latin American countries , highlighting the interdisciplinary nature focused on the health and quality of life of the adolescent.
